I track the EnvironmentNC blog and found this video they posted to be quite interesting.
I have been encouraged recently by some positive developments on this front recently (windmills). For instance, Iowa has a growing number of farmers who are powering their farms off of a single windmill and then selling additional un-used energy back to the electric company. This makes sense to me depending on the initial investment, particularly because the government is covering a lot of it.
